Starting tomorrow, io9 will join hundreds of thousands of fans in San Diego for the biggest event in pop culture: San Diego Comic-Con. And if you’re lucky enough to be there too, then there’s plenty to see. Here are the events fans absolutely should not miss at Comic-Con.

The Nerd in the Classroom: Sci-fi as an Educational Tool - 4pm, Shiley Special Events, San Diego Central Library - A group of teachers explain how modern science fiction can be used to teach.

20th Century Fox - 5:45pm, Hall H - Taking Marvel’s usual slot, Fox will highlight the following movies: Fantastic Four, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Victor Frankenstein and X-Men: Days of Future Past - The Rogue Cut. Starship Smackdown XV: Battle of the Intergalactic Stars Edition - 2:15pm, Room 6A - This is always an amazing event where intellectuals debate battles between fictional starships.
